                 Mission Statement

Celebrating Black Youth is designed to capture the minds
and spirits of a diverse ethnic representation of youth
between ages five and eighteen.  Allowing youth a unique
opportunity and platform to reach their peers by using the
powerful gift of creative talent, with skill, awakens,
transforms and moves thinking into realms of achievement
once believed inaccessible and unattainable.  Celebrating
Black Youth is dedicated to searching out youth from
diverse cultures and environments, who have aspirations but
rare opportunities to display their artistic ability, and to
build hope in their hearts for promising futures.
